SST Schools Poised to Raise $100K in Scholarship Funds

This year, SST Schools is setting a new height in scholarship fundraising. The School of Science and Technology is poised to raise over $100K in scholarship funds. Their goal is to raise at least $120K as a few prominent local figures and organizations have agreed to match a combined $60K. Here's how it will work.

Every SST Public Charter School has activated a "Fun Run" initiative where students will run for a good cause, and community members are encouraged to donate funds digitally. The STEM-focused district has partnered with Get Movin' Fundraising and established individual "Fund Hubs" for each campus that can actively receive funds digitally. While everyone is encouraged to participate in the fundraising, the safety of our SST Scholars is of utmost importance, so the students and their families are the only ones who will get to run in the Scholar Sprint.

The fundraiser solidifies our student's futures, regardless of their economic background. The time and financial investment are minuscule compared to the exciting achievements SST students go on to fulfill. Every dollar is appreciated because our students understand the value of a dollar.
